The Inclusion Planner is a calendar. That is all it is, and that is the point.
It lists the cultural, religious, and civic days of significance that practitioners need to know about. For each entry, the planner provides a short description of what the day marks, links to source material from the communities and organizations who observe it, a note on its significance, and practical suggestions for how a workplace can acknowledge the day without overreaching.
It is not a heritage month content engine. It is not a brand calendar. It is a working reference for the people who are asked, often at short notice, what is coming up next month and how their organization should handle it. Updated by practitioners, sourced from the communities themselves, and free with a Belonging Works account.

The date
The day or date range, with a clear note when the date shifts year to year, follows a lunar calendar, or differs by region or tradition.
A short description
What the day marks, in two or three plain sentences. Written for someone who has never heard of it before and needs to be respectful about it by tomorrow morning.

Direct links to the communities, organizations, and primary sources that observe the day, so you can read further from the source instead of a third party summary.
How to acknowledge it at work
Practical, low harm suggestions for acknowledging the day inside an organization, including when the most respectful choice is to do nothing public at all.
