Thank you for enrolling in a Belonging Works certificate program. If for any reason You are not completely satisfied with Your enrolment, please review this policy before requesting a refund.
This policy applies to certificate program enrolments and any other paid Services offered through Belonging Works. It forms part of, and should be read alongside, Our Terms and Conditions.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Refund Policy:
- Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Policy) refers to Belonging Works, LLC located at 333 N Sunrise Way, #1745, Palm Springs, CA, 92263.
- Service refers to the Belonging Works website, member application, and the certificate programs and other paid offerings made available through them.
- Program refers to a certificate program or other paid live cohort offered through the Service, including all live sessions, on-demand modules, materials, assessments, and the resulting credential.
- Enrolment means a paid registration for a Program in Your name, completed through the Service.
- Start Date means the scheduled date and time of the first live session of the Program in which You are enrolled.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Your right to cancel an enrolment
You are entitled to cancel Your Enrolment and receive a full refund within seven (7) days of completing Your purchase, provided that the Program has not yet started. After the Start Date of a Program, refunds are not automatic and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Company.
In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of Your decision by a clear written statement. You can inform Us of Your decision:

If Your cancellation request is received within the seven-day window and before the Start Date, We will reimburse You no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which We receive Your request. We will use the same means of payment You used for the Enrolment, and You will not incur any fees for the reimbursement.
Conditions for refund
In order for an Enrolment to be eligible for a refund, please make sure that:
- The Enrolment was purchased no more than seven (7) days before Your cancellation request.
- The Program has not yet started. The Start Date is the scheduled date and time of the first live session of the Program.
- You have not joined any live session, downloaded gated Program materials, or completed any assessment associated with the Program.
The following Enrolments are not eligible for refund:
- Enrolments in a Program that has already started, except where required by applicable law or where granted at the Company's sole discretion.
- Enrolments in a Program where You have joined one or more live sessions, downloaded gated Program materials, or completed any assessment.
- Enrolments purchased with a discount, coupon, or promotional code that explicitly excludes refunds.
- Donations made through the Service. Donations are non-refundable and are not tax deductible.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund request that does not meet the above conditions in Our sole discretion.
Transfers and rescheduling
Where a refund is not available, You may request to transfer Your Enrolment to a future cohort of the same Program, subject to availability. Transfer requests received before the Start Date will be accommodated at no additional cost. Transfer requests received after the Start Date are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation by the Company
If the Company cancels a Program for any reason, You will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that Enrolment, or, at Your option, a transfer to a future cohort of the same Program or a comparable Program of equal or lesser value, at no additional cost.
Donations
Contributions made through Support Our Work are voluntary, non-refundable, and not tax deductible. No charitable tax receipt will be issued.
Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify this Refund Policy at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least thirty (30) days' notice before the new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.
