World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is observed every June 15. Launched by the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA) in 2006 and recognized by the UN in 2011, it raises awareness of the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older people and the factors behind it.
